Golriz Lucina | Co-founder, Head of Creative - SoulPancake

Golriz is a New York Times Bestselling Author who is passionate about using storytelling to effect change; making stuff that matters for people who give a damn.

Working with actor Rainn Wilson, Golriz co-founded SoulPancake, an award winning media company that creates meaningful entertainment across a variety of platforms which explores the human experience and engages a socially minded global audience.


Dave Gibson | Film Producer

Dave Gibson is one of New Zealand’s most successful film and TV producers and has made programmes that have sold to over 80 countries worldwide. Dave laid the groundwork for  Gibson Group to become a multi-faceted screen and visitor experience production company before moving on to new challenges. 

From 2014 to early 2018 he was  the CEO of the NZ Film Commission, and from 2015 to 2019 was on the board of the WellingtonNZ. 

He has served on boards related to New Zealand film and TV industry. In the late 90’s Dave chaired major New Zealand film and TV initiative Project Blue Sky which fought for and won equal access for New Zealand programme content in Australia. In 2012 he was appointed an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit for his contribution to the television and film industries.

He's currently working as a consultant to selected producers and businesses in the screen sector and is involved in setting up Cyclorama, an annual e-bike festival to be held in Arrowtown in November  2021


Philip Smith | CEO, Great Southern Film + Television

Philip is one of Australasia’s most prolific television creators having created over 50 original television series, that have sold and screened the world over, including BBC, Sky UK, Nat Geo, Discovery, the History Channel, Ch7 Australia, Ch9 Australia, TVNZ, TV3 and Prime, to name a few.

A former war correspondent and writer for the Financial Times and the Economist, Phil later become a television correspondent and producer. He established GSTV in 2002, quickly developing it into one of New Zealand’s major production companies. In 2018 GSTV joined Seven Studios, with major production companies in the USA, the UK and Australia. Amongst its hits are the long running soap opera Home and Away; the acclaimed series Blue Healers, All Saints and Packed to the Rafters; as well as the global entertainment hit format My Kitchen Rules.
